The NHL Trade deadline day is coming up fairly soon on March 3rd, and one team that's expected to very busy moving players is the Chicago Blackhawks. This came from Blackhawks General Manager Kyle Davidson who's let every team know that:

"The Chicago Blackhawks are open for business when it comes to the trade deadline."

Davidson is expected to move Jake McCabe, Max Domi, as well as Sam Lafferty has come up as a possible trade for assets type of player, but everyone is still wondering what's going to happen about, Patrick Kane, and Jonathan Toews?

The two have been rumored to be dealt by the deadline and have gained a lot of attention but both Kane, and Toews hold the keys with full no move clauses in their contracts.

Hockey Insider From "The Fourth Period" David Pagnotta has kept a close eye on the Blackhawks would share the latest on Social Media writing:

Blackhawks Update: In addition to Patrick Kane, I can confirm Jonathan Toews has also been presented with a list of teams that have expressed interest in trading for him. And like Kane, while things can change, no decision is expected until closer to the trade deadline.

Blackhawks Insider Scott Powers would then share news on Jonathan Toews:

Jonathan Toews is not participating in the Blackhawks morning skate. He's been out the last three days with a non-COVID-related illness.

The good news is this won't effect any news of a Toews trade, both players seem to be looking at all their options before they decide to answer either way. Which is understandable being how long both have been with the Blackhawks Organization it's almost odd to think they could be finishing the season in different Jerseys.
