A three-time Stanley Cup champion, Keith has been the pillar of the Blackhawks' blue line for a decade and a half. He's a two-time Norris Trophy winner and was the unanimous Conn Smythe Trophy winner in 2015. Keith has recently announced his retirement from professional hockey, and he will go down as one if not thee best Blackhawks defenseman to ever lace up the skates! But what happens next?
Well, Keith has revealed he will be taking a front office role with the Edmonton Oilers.
The Mug NHL revealed the news as follows:
Bob Stuffer has stated Duncan Keith will remain apart of the Oilers organization this upcoming season, and says an announcement is imminent.
No role has been specified, but it's very likely Duncan Keith signs on as an assistant GM, or to be apart of the coaching staff. If not, he'll
probably have an executive role.
