It's a very tense time for the Minnesota Wild and star forward Kirill Kaprizov. After reports that Kaprizov is wanted in Russia.
It all started when Philadelphia Flyers prospect goaltender Ivan Fedotov was detained by the Russian Government after he shared his intentions to go play in the NHL next season. Fedotov was arrested for failure to complete military services and was poisoned in police custody. After learning that Fedotov will be sent to an artic base Kaprizov would flee Russia fearing the same troubles.
Today Russia would make Kaprizov wanted by the Russian Government for fake Military papers to avoid service.
Minnesota Wild's Insider Michael Russo would share the latest on this situation:
"Minnesota Wild forward Kirill Kaprizov has not returned to North America amongst Russian reports that he is wanted for buying a fake Russian Military ID in 2017 to avoid mandatory service." -Michael Russo.
