Kyle Davidson Reveals Huge News on Patrick Kane to The Blackhawks Fan Base
Patrick Kane has missed the last few games, but he is set to return tonight after dealing with a lower body injury.
This is big news for Blackhawks fans, but is it the best news for the team? Yes, he gets to play and try and raise his value, but let's remember what has happened with Kaner out of the lineup.
The Hawks are 3-0-0 in their last 3 games with solid wins over the Flames and Avalanche.
I'm sure I am going to get some heat for this opinion, but I think Kane's style of play doesn't fit well with the new Hawks squad at all.
Kane has a very laid back style of play that can sometimes seems lazy. He rarely goes 100% and he usually looks for open shooting lanes rather than driving to the net to make something happen.
Obviously, this style of play has earned Kaner a Hall of Fame career and three Stanley Cups, but it just doesn't match with this year's team.
This team is full of gritty players who are playing for their next contract. As a result, they are always going 150% and drive the net any chance they get, and it has been on full display the last few games.
Don't get me wrong, I love that Kaner is back because he is an amazing hockey player, but I am hoping it raises his value so we can get more in a future trade.
Of course, I'd love to see them trade Kane and then resign him in free agency.
