MUST SEE: Lukas Reichel Shows Hawks Fans What to Expect With Unreal Shootout Move
The Chicago Blackhawks are coming off a franchise-worst season since 2006 which is quite humiliating, but what isn't is the draft picks and prospects they bring into the organization while enduring those tough seasons. This past year was Frank Nazar, and the seventh overall pick, Defenseman Kevin Korchinski.
The past few years there has not been many names that have shown up in the Blackhawks organization that are more promising than the young German Lukas Reichel, who is coming off a 57-point season in a total of 56 games with the Blackhawks affiliate, the Rockford Ice Hogs. Reichel was formerly drafted 17th overall by the Hawks, and is there #1 ranked forward prospect.
The NHL and Upper Deck Hockey Cards had their annual rookie showcase which included top end talent around the NHL such as Shane Wright, first overall pick Juraj Slafkovsky, Marco Rossi and the one and only, Blackhawks Lukas Reichel.
Take a look at a photo from their day, and also the video of Reichel showcasing his talents.
