Many Believe The NHL is Rigged After a Very Controversial Miscall in Last Night's Game
Throughout the last few years many fan bases and teams themselves have needed a clear explanation from the NHL as to what a ''distinct kicking motion'' really is. Controversy struck just 8 months ago when Calgary Flames forward Blake Coleman had his goal called off after a ''distinct kicking motion'', which can be seen below:
That call above drew controversy from the entire NHL as it was a very important playoff goal, now last night we have a similar situation. Oddly enough, it was once again with the Calgary Flames which many are calling the NHL "rigged" as it's the second controversial situation regarding the Flames with a kicking motion.
The New York Rangers immediately waived the officials down due to them believing it was a kicking motion, view the goal below:
As you can imagine, fans in attendance at Madison Square Garden were more than furious with this call, as it tied the game for the third time.
Was the puck kicked in with a kicking motion as many fans are calling, or was it a non-kicking motion?
