The Chicago Blackhawks face the crowd after their brutal 6-2 loss against the New York Rangers

You can see how embarrassed the team is as Alex Vlasic was one of only a few Chicago Blackhawks who would show themselves after the game.

While Vlasic would do his due diligence to own the embarrassment, other Blackhawks who should've made the effort were absent on the ice.

While fans held an open skate on the United Center ice, Connor Bedard, Nick Foligno, Teuvo Teravainen, and other Hawks stars weren't there.

But they should've been.

Bedard would be held to only an assist today, as Tyler Bertuzzi and Wyatt Kaiser would be the goal-scorers today.

The team would leave Arvid Soderblom to the wolves, as the Rangers dismantled the Blackhawks' defensive unit, and would score by committee.

Today was a sad showing for the fans, and they would leave them hanging during today's open skate on the ice after the Rangers game.

Connor Bedard leads the team in points with 35(10 G, 25 A) in 40 games this season.

But for someone who's a future Captain of the Hawks, he's failed to show up to the fans twice today.

The Blackhawks are 13-25-2, and 8th in the Central Division.
