Despite the Edmonton Oilers' recent success throughout the NHL placing them just outside of the top ten teams in the league, there is one team they have been struggling against for years, and that is the Minnesota Wild.
The Wild are currently out of a playoff spot but continue to give the Oilers a tough time whenever the two face-off against each other, the Oilers have lost seven straight games against the Minnesota Wild until they broke the streak last night, beating Minnesota by a score of 5-2.
Throughout the game, frustrated feelings were at an all-time high for the Wild which left players, and even their goaltender furious.
Oilers forward Leon Draisaitl added some salt to the wound when he decided to throw away Marc-Andre Fleury's blocker after the whistle was blown.
Fleury responded back, and it's quite funny, take a look at the video below:
Fleury was all smiles throughout the process as usual, but Draisaitl was not too happy.
