Chicago Blackhawks legend Marian Hossa saw his career, unfortunately, come to an end in 2016-17 after being diagnosed with eczema and officially retiring in May of 2018.
Although in a different capacity, Hossa was able to return to the ice this year.He was granted a retirement game back home in Slovakia, where he got to choose his lineup featuring all-time Chicago Blackhawks, former teammates and friends. The lineup has some NHL legends with players like, Zdeno Chara, Duncan Keith, Jonathan Toews, Dustin Byfuglien and other greats.
This brought fans together from all over the world to watch their favourite players step back on the ice since retiring. Fans were so excited to see this roster come to life when they stepped on the ice they were granted a huge pop. Especially Marian Hossa who was given a standing ovation from the entire arena.
