TheChicagoBlackhawks have a clear cut top trade piece.
We've heard that
Alex DeBrincat is available, however it would likely take a monster package that no team could afford.
We heard yesterday that the WashingtonCapitals are looking like the likely landing spot for the goalie as long as he's willing to accept a trade there.
That came fromCapitals insider, Samantha Pell, and now we're hearing from one of the NHL's top insiders.
Elliotte Friedman commented on the situation in his latest edition of 32 Thoughts.
"We should prepare ourselves for the possibility of Marc-Andre Fleury, Washington Capital. At the very least, the Capitals are looking into it."
The Capitals have no cap space but have their own 1st round pick along with the WinnipegJets' 2nd round pick.
They'll have to be some salary coming back from the Capitals.
It'll be interesting to see what kind of a trade these two sides can work out.
