When news broke about veteran Pittsburgh Penguin's defenceman Kristopher Letang suffering a second stroke in under five years, the hockey world was left wondering how he could be in the same predicament again.
Under 40 years old and suffering a substantial health scare not once but twice at such a young age, left many wondering about Letang's future.
According to TSN insider and the Athletic NHL beat writer Pierre LeBrun Letang's stroke was significantly less serious than his previous one. LeBrun announced the news during a recent Insider Trading segment.
Letang is expected to make a full recovery and should the Penguins need their number one defenceman ahead of another playoff run, he will certainly be back, at least that's what the Penguins impression is based on tests that Letang has undergone thus far.
Best of luck in your recovery, Tanger!
