NHL Teams Are Not too Happy About Gary Bettman Helping The Coyotes on Their Teams Schedule
As the only two teams in league history to travel for 14 games during the NHL regular season, the Arizona Coyotes will be joining the Vancouver Canucks of 20092010.
Scheduling difficulties between the Coyotes and the ASU (Arizona State University) Sun Devils are the cause of the Coyotes' string of consecutive road games. The Coyotes have been out of place for the most of this NHL season since the NCAA season has already begun. In fact, Arizona has travelled for 20 of their season's first 24 games. It's quite unusual.
It will take them 33 days to complete their 33-day road trip, which will end on December 7 when they play the Edmonton Oilers. Their journey started in Washington on November 5 and will be completed there.
Before arriving back to Mullett Arena on December 9 to play the Bruins, the squad will have travelled a total of 24,083 KM (14,964.482 Miles) in distance. These 14-game road trips will likely become a yearly event because the Coyotes will play at Mullett Arena for the foreseeable future.
