July 13th has come and gone with alot of big names on the move via free agency and even trades. However one huge name is surprisingly still available.
That's non other then London Ontario's own Stanley Cup winner with the Colorado Avalanche Nazem Kadri. Kadri had the best season off his career and finished top five in scoring this year.
Unfortunately for the Avalanche they don't have the cap space to keep Kadri. However according to hockey insider Kevin Kurz believes that the New York Islanders are interested in signing Kadri.
"The current cap space, suggests that Lou Lamoriello could wing it, with $11 million to work with currently, so in reality, it could work."
Kadri who just turned 31 will be looking for a significant raise from his $4.5 million dollars he made this season.
