Nick Foligno roasts his old team in a comment
Nick Foligno, known for his leadership and gritty style of play, has spent most of his career with the Columbus Blue Jackets before moving around the league.
Recently, he signed a 1-year, $4 million deal with the Chicago Blackhawks after being traded from the Boston Bruins in a salary cap dump that also included NHL veteran Taylor Hall.
Despite his past success, Foligno was not shy about criticizing his former team, the Presidents Trophy-winning Boston Bruins, after their disappointing first-round loss to the Florida Panthers.
When asked about Chicago's rebuild mode and their chances of winning a playoff series, Foligno responded with a witty remark, pointing out that he didn't win a series with Boston either.
Though his comment may seem cold, it holds some truth.
