OFFICIAL: The Chicago Blackhawks Have Completed Another Trade

The Chicago Blackhawks were expected to be sellers at the NHL trade deadline day which takes place on March 3rd, but have started selling very early along with other organizations doing the same.

Five trades were announced today in the NHL, one of those deals includes a Chicago Blackhawks defensemen heading home to his old stomping grounds, on top of that the Chicago Blackhawks reportedly have a deal locked in with the New York Rangers to send Patrick Kane to the big apple, but finances still need to be worked out.

The Chicago Blackhawks have officially traded defensemen Jack Johnson to the Colorado Avalanche in exchange for Andreas Englund.

Get to know the newest Blackhawk: Englund is 27-years of age and is a Swedish-born defensemen, Englund has spent his entire North American hockey career with the Colorado Avalanche's farm team in the AHL, up until this year where he made the jump to the NHL and has played 37 games.
