One fan base is absolutely trashing and turning on one specific player
The Oilers took a shot on Jack Capmbell in free agency and gave him a pretty hefty 5-year $25mil contract, hoping he would be a solid netminder for them for a while.
Well, this move has not panned out for them to this point. In 3 seasons in Toronto, Campbell had a .916 save percentage and 2.50 goals against average.
The Oilers were hoping for him to continue those numbers, but that just hasn't happened. Through 10 games with the Oilers, Campbell is 6-4-0 with an .873 save percentage and is giving up 4.27 goals per contract.
Luckily for Campbell, the Oilers offense is incredible, or else he could very well only have 2 or 3 wins this year.
With his struggling play in net, fans are starting to not be happy with the veteran.
Just take a look at what Oilers fans have been posting on social media:
Oilers fans never seem to disappoint when it comes to trashing the organization.
