Patrick Kane Addresses Recent Trade Rumours: Is He Leaving?

The Chicago Blackhawks General Manager Kyle Davidson has been trying hard to make sure the Blackhawks remain at the bottom on the NHL Standings, also known as "Tanking" to go hard for Connor Bedard throughout their rebuild.

However the hockey world has been following the Blackhawks closely after trading away Kirby Dach, and Alex Debrincat this off-season, many assumed Blackhawks top dogs Jonathan Toews, and Patrick Kane would be next.

Kane has been dealing with recent injury trouble that was believed to end his season. Kane took some time to talk to Chicago Blackhawks Insider Charlie Roumeliotis on NBC Sports would talk with Kane about how things are going with trade talks this is what Kane had to say:

While Kane hasn't spoken much about what is exactly going on, as he holds a no-movement clause and will control his own destiny, he did speak to Charlie Roumeliotis of NBC Sports Chicago and had this to say on the latest:

"It's a different year, obviously, going into the last year of your contract and different variables about what's going to happen or where you're going to be the rest of your career, different things like that. You think about that stuff, especially when it gets into January here and got a couple months to the trade deadline, so we'll see how it all shakes out. Just to kind of hear from where each side is at. I think whether it's about my play now or just about the team, about things that I see with the team that could maybe help, and, obviously, about maybe what's coming up. I don't think we've got to that point yet, but I'm sure we both know it's right around the corner here." - Patrick Kane

Kane will likely be dealt by March 3rd I can't imagine Kane staying unless he's planning on re-signing in Chicago but I don't see that happening now.
