Patrick Kane has spent many grateful years in a Chicago Blackhawks jersey but as of late times have been questionable and rough, general Manager Kyle Davidson traded away Kanes line mate and best buddy Alex DeBrincat, leaving Kanes future in Chicago even more questionable than it already seemed.

Kyle Davidson gave both Patrick Kane and Jonathan Toews a 'open door policy'' where if they would like to waive there no movement clause to be traded- Davidson would happily cooperate with them.

There has been no update on Jonathan Toews's future, but Patrick Kane has officially declined to waive his no movement clause. The Edmonton Oilers contracted Blackhawks general manager in regards to acquiring Patrick Kane, but Kane shut them down and stated he has no intention on doing anything of that sort just yet.

NHL insider Frank Servealli revealed that Patrick Kane would like to see how the rebuild plans out and go from there on a decision of his future in the Blackhawks organization, multiple teams such as the New York Rangers with Kane's former best buddy Artemi Panarin contacted Chicago but Kane has decided he is staying put.
