'We all know why', is the key point noted by Mark Lazerus here. Patrick Kane only gave Blackhawks general manager Kyle Davidson one option, and that was to go to the New York Rangers. As Davidson stated he would fulfill Kane's asking and destination, he sure did, which left the Blackhawks in a tough spot.
The Blackhawks gave up a franchise great for next-to-nothing value, where players like Tanner Jeannot, Tyler Bertuzzi and several other underwhelming players all fetched more value.
We don't blame Kane for wanting out, the Blackhawks organization pretty much forced him away...
