It took Patrick Kane one week to score his 1st goal since being traded from the Chicago Blackhawks to the New York Rangers.
Fans and the media were already calling the trade a bust for the Rangers because Kane took a couple games to find his grove. But Kane found it Thursday night vs the Canadiens, scoring his 1st a Ranger on Canadiens goaltender Samuel Montembeault.
After the game Kane would say:
"Yeah I think we kinda knew they were gonna be a dangerous team. A lot of guys work hard there, I like the way we hung in there, found a way to get a point. I think there's times we took over the game too, and had some chances as well and obviously Shesterkin made some huge saves. So it was nice to get the win for sure."
