The ECHL continues to be one of the craziest hockey leagues out their, being one two skill levels below the NHL, and one skill level below the AHL, some of the league's most popular fighters are former NHL players.
The Iowa Heartlanders faced off against the Wheeling Nailers last night in what many would call a hectic game, for example; 28 penalty minutes were handed out in the first period alone yesterday, including two fights.
Justin Wells was the receiver of several punches to the head before being dropped like a sack of potatoes in one of the most one-sided fights you'll ever likely see. The man dishing out the punches is Felix Pare, who has more penalty minutes than points this season, most being from fights.
At least 10 punches were thrown towards the face of Justin Wells, his bold strategy was to sit there and attempt to take them all it seemed, failing miserably in a TKO situation.
