The Chicago Blackhawks go to the West Coast to face a fellow Western Conference team, the Anaheim Ducks.
Tonight, the Blackhawks are trying something new. The lines goes as followed:
Kurashev-Domi-Kane
Athanasiou-Toews-Raddysh
Entwistle-Lafferty-Katchouk
RJohnson-Khaira-Blackwell
Defense:
Johnson-McCabe
Tinordi-Murphy
CJones-Roos
Söderblom starting in goal.
Jason Dickinson is out with an illness. It is not COVID, it's the flu as the doctor says the flu has been running rapidly. Also, Arvid Söderblom is back in the lineup after getting hurt and going under concussion protocol. Petr Mrazek did great against Los Angelas, so it is an interesting move to start Arvid and possibly stop Petr's momentum. Philipp Kurashev seeing the first line is great for the young gun. Give him a taste of the first line early.
