It's been a long a frustrating year for Chicago Blackhawks star Patrick Kane, from being in the NHL's basement all season, alongside the trade rumours, it has obviously taken it's toll on Kane.

The good news is Kane could be traded within the next two weeks, *IF* Kane believes his hip is good enough to play in the Playoff atmosphere.

Kane has plenty of team's hoping to acquire him including the New York Rangers Toronto Maple Leafs, and Edmonton Oilers.

One team we can guarantee Kane isn't going to now is the New York Islanders, after Islanders General Manager Lou Lamoriello reportedly tried to reach out to Kane's management team but Kane has declined them straight up.

According to Stefen Rosner, a New York Islanders reporter, Kane has 'no interest' in joining the New York Islanders before the trade deadline. The Isles have already acquired Bo Horvat for a multi-piece package which included their top prospect and first-round pick in 2023. Adding Kane would cost a significant amount as well, so even being still linked to the Blackhawks forward is a touch of a surprise.

Kane isn't happy in Chicago and recently blasted the team on their player development. He's been frustrated with management's communication on the rebuild and it certainly feels like the days in the windy city are winding down for the Blackhawks great.

This is good news for the other cities including the Toronto Maple Leafs after the most recent rumours that Kane is heading to Toronto. That has yet to be announced so take that rumour with a grain of salt. Either way, it's going to be a fun couple of weeks to find out if or where Kane is going, stay tuned folks.
