The Seattle Kraken have reportedly expressed their interest in acquiring one of the Blackhawks defenseman. According to the Fourth Period, Blackhawks defenseman Jake McCabe could be on the Kraken's radar as the trade deadline approaches to help solidify their blue line.
McCabe has had quite the bounce back season for the Blackhawks and has often been the most noticeable player on the ice for Chicago every night. McCabe plays the game with a very physical presence and has been one of the most reliable defenseman for the Blackhawks this season.
McCabe has 13 points on the season, but has a very respectable +/- 4 on a team that will be in the race to land Bedard. McCabe would be a great addition for the Kraken or any contender who is willing to pay the price to lift the Stanley Cup.
