Rockford IceHogs season comes to an end after being swept!
The Dallas Stars have begun their second-round playoff against the Seattle Kraken, a team who is new to the league within the last two years. It's the first time they have made the playoffs pretty impressive
I have to say. However, there's another team with the Stars' name that made noise in the AHL playoffs.
The Texas Stars, have won their series against the Rockford IceHogs the AHL affiliate for the Chicago Blackhawks.
Unfortunately for Rockford, the IceHogs could not win a game in the series and were swept out 3-0. They could only muster six goals in three games compared to Texas who had 13.
The final scores for all three games were 5-3, 4-1 and 4-2.
Within the next few years, the IceHogs will be receiving many new players as the Blackhawks continue to get set for their rebuilding phase and usher in many new players and high talent.
As the talent pool continues to deepen, the IceHogs will likely become a strong team in the AHL as the rookies continue to develop and improve.
From all of us, well-done IceHogs we will see you next year!
