Shane Wright Gets His Ultimate Revenge Against The Montreal Canadiens
Unless you have been living underneath a rock, you are aware of the Montreal Canadiens drafting forward Juraj Slafkovsky and not Shane Wright, which lead to Shane Wright being passed on and the Seattle Kraken drafting him fourth overall.
The photo above is of Shane Wright when he was being drafted by the Seattle Kraken, as seen in the photo- Wright was staring down the Montreal Canadiens management table at the draft for passing on him.
Although it seemed like the Canadiens got the last laugh while Slafkovsky was scoring goals, while Wright was a healthy scratch and when he would play, he would be getting 4 minutes a night.
The Seattle Kraken announced just one night before they played the Canadiens that Shane Wright will be called up, and he sure got some closure..
Shane Wright buried his first NHL goal against the team that passed on him (the Canadiens), that must've felt nice, and the smile says it all!
Wright's name will be trending once again in just one months time as the World Juniors will be taking place, Wright and
Connor Bedard headline the roster that is heavily favoured to win gold.
