Sharp's replacement speaks out on his opportunity.
Darren Pang played as a goalie for the Chicago Blackhawks for three seasons in the 1980s. He started his broadcasting career in Chicago, working as a broadcaster from 1992 to 1995.
Before joining the Blues, he was a top analyst for ESPN and TNT. Throughout his career, he has broadcasted over 95 Stanley Cup games.
This season, he will be joining Chris Vosters in the booth as a broadcast partner, calling the Blackhawks games at the United Center, a place he knows well.
He is happy to be back where he started his broadcasting career after being a goalie there, and feels welcomed back into the fold, turning things full-circle once again.
