The St. Louis Blues seemingly have gotten the last laugh at Scott Darling's expense after last night's 5-2 victory in Chicago against the Blackhawks.
Darling cut quite the promo against the Blues on NBC Sports Chicago, calling St. Louis "the worst city in the country, the worst place to play, and the first team on my no-trade clause agreement".
After the Blues win, the team captioned their victory post on Instagram and Twitter with "hush little Darling, don't say a word". The Hawks and Blues rivalry spills back to the Blackhawks remarkable playoff stretch from 2010-2017 in which the Hawks seemingly owned the Blues. Now, not so much.
We'll see if the Hawks can get some revenge for their former goaltender when the two teams clash again on December 29th in St. Louis.
