Superstar Gets Struck by a Bag of Candy and Caused a Game Delay
It almost seems as if New Jersey Devils and Colorado Avalanche fans were somehow jointed last night, after both fan bases threw objects on the ice which resulted in a delay of the game during the final minutes of the third period.
Check out the incident in Carolina, as fans were furious after having three goals disallowed by questionable reffing.
The incident seen above involved full beers which were cracked open, soda drink bottles and many other objects, but oddly enough no candy was thrown on the ice. No pun intended, but one Avalanche must've said ''hold my beer'' and threw candy on the ice, which resulted in hitting the Canucks star player Elias Pettersson.
Yes, it was a embarrassing move to throw candy directly at a player like that, but the Avalanche roster benefited from it as they had time to catch their breath before they headed to the powerplay.
