Suspension incoming? Multiple Blackhawks Drop The Gloves in Defense of Their Teammate
What is better than a Blackhawks win and also a little bit of feistiness to go along with it? Not many things, that's for sure!
The Chicago Blackhawks demonstrated their true potential and gave Hawks fans a taste of good hockey in a dominating fashion, beating the New York Rangers 5-2. Patrick Kane had a historic night hitting 1,200 career points with one goal and two assists, and Max Domi continues to increase his trade value with a two goal-one assist game.
Midway through the game the New York Rangers came to realization that the Chicago Blackhawks were dominating them in most, if not all categories, and they searched for a spark.
The New York Rangers ''captain'', Jacob Trouba, who has a reputation for dirty open ice hits laid one. If Trouba's hits were clean many fans or players would not bat an eye, but Trouba continues to leave hit feet which makes a illegal check, and the victim of it was Chicago Blackhawks Forward Andreas Anthanasiou.
Anthanasiou got absolutely steamrolled by Jacob Trouba and the Blackhawks who were on the ice were not having ANY of it! Captain Jonathan Toews dropped the gloves, and as did a few other Blackhawks while getting involved, you love to see the Blackhawks leadership.
Although the Blackhawks are not likely to have so much of a ''hot'' season, it is still amazing to see the team has some heart and fight left in them.
