The NHL Awfully Makes Hockey History Today?
The NHL and Garry Bettman has set a new record today, but it's not something they should be proud of.
NHL scheduling has been awful for many years, and that continues today. Years ago, Bettman got rid of Christmas Day games and many fans didn't agree with that. The NBA has Christmas Day games, why can't the NHL?
We had zero hockey games yesterday. Today, we have 16 games, all 32 teams participating, which sets an NHL record for most games played in a single day.
They then took to Twitter to brag about it, but it's really not something to brag about. No one can watch 16 games in one day, and having zero games yesterday, this is just plain ridiculous.
