It was recently announced that the Seattle Kraken made tremendous strides, bringing in former 15-year NHL veteran Frans Neilsen for a role in their hockey ops department.
The 38-year-old Herning, Denmark., native announced his retirement at the duration of the 2021-22 NHL regular season, after he played parts of 15 NHL seasons, split between the Detroit Red Wings and New York Islanders.
The now retired centerman played 925 career NHL games, scoring 167 goals, 306 assists for 473 career NHL points.
Certainly a great add to mentor the Shane Wright's and Matty Beniers of the world, having played a long career, due to his responsible two-way play.
