After their morning practice, both men spoke to the media and expressed what happened and how they feel about the entire situation.
Hall appeared surprised and somewhat dumbfounded after being told that he would be a healthy scratch in an attempt as a reset for the player mentally and physically.
Hall also stated that both he and the coach had a long conversation and feels they're both on the same page as he would like to improve his game and become more a factor for the Blackhawks as he is only scored three goals this season.
Richardson on the other hand, expressed that both he and Hall are on the same page in that Richardson wants what's best for hall as he sees him as a vital part of their offense.
Richardson also admitted that his approach to Hall with regards to this type of demotion may have been handled better as he felt that he needed to get to know the player better and perhaps go a different way in order to get the results he wants.
Tensions remains high with the Blackhawks as the team is now in the cellar of the NHL standings as they only have 13 points on the season.
It's been a tough road for all the players who are craving wins and would like to move up closer to a playoff spot including Hall and Connor Bedard.
Hall will get another chance to try to break into the lineup as the Blackhawks will be at home to play against the Anaheim Ducks trade the game will be on November 19th and game time will be 8:30 PM eastern.
