The Chicago Blackhawks take on the Anaheim Ducks tonight at 8:30 PM and Luke Richardson has made some changes to the lineup.

Tonight, Taylor Hall will find himself back in the lineup after being a healthy scratch against the Vancouver Canucks. Petr Mrazek has left the team momentarily due to family issues.

Prior to that game, he's had 2 points in 5 games, and his last game saw a lower utilization on the ice, with 13:23 TOI against the Kraken.

He made a fit about the healthy scratch in the media, within the past week.

«I was surprised by it," Hall said, per Charlie Roumeliotis of WGN Radio. "It was unexpected from the standpoint of I just didn't know I was even close to being in that spot, really.

"If there were some conversations in the days leading up about my game or if I was constantly being shown video it would be one thing, but I was a bit surprised.»

Hall's not been the best, or did he simply fulfill Richardson's request to get more practice in?

He's had about 5 days to clean up whatever was missing from his game. Honestly, it doesn't pass the sniff test.

Petr Mrazek

We thought there might be a trade on the horizon, given that the Blackhawks need center depth. Whether it be Arvid Soderblom, Commesso, or even Mrazek it seems that all we had is speculation.

Commesso will likely back up Soderblom tonight as he's been recalled for tonight's game. Petr Mrazek has left the team momentarily due to family issues.

Mrazek will remain out of the lineup tonight due to a family issue.

Per CBS Sports:

The team didn't provide an update on Mrazek's availability to face the Panthers on Thursday,

Soderblom will take control of the net, with a 1-3-1 record, a 2.22 GAA, and a .934 save percentage.
