The Toronto Maple Leafs Are Not Done: They Are Now Targeting This Chicago Blackhawks Forward
The largest trade of the current season may have beenthe Toronto Maple Leafs acquiring centre Ryan O'Reilly from the St. Louis Blues, despite having no salary space, they still made it work.
After that huge trade, you'd think the Leafs would be done, right? Yet, it appears that they are seeking to acquire a forward from the Chicago Blackhawks.
The Fourth Period's David Pagnotta of Hockey Insider claims that the Leafs are attempting to acquire forward Max Domi.
In addition to Domi being a good player, which he is, this would be incredibly amazing for Max's dad's childhood memories as Max's dad, Tie Domi, was once a Toronto Maple Leaf for the majority of his career.
Domi is a Domi, so you know he's playoff tough, and he could already fit in on a loaded Maple Leafs roster. He could also play anywhere in the lineup and make an effect. Domi has stated he wants to stay in Chicago, but sadly it seems as if his time may be ticking in The Windy City..
