Three Blackhawks prospects explains Bedard's game.
Before the draft lottery, I doubt there was anyone in the NHL not chomping at the bit to try to land the rights to draft Conor Bedard. This budding superstar has been on the radar for every team for at least a year or two and beforehand when he was much younger.
After showing off his talents at the world juniors in December and the explosive stats he provided for the Regina St. Pats of the WHL it's curious to know what his future teammates think of his coming to the Blackhawks organization.
During the CHGO Blackhawks podcast on March 29th, three of Chicago's coming prospects of the Seattle Condors Colton Dach, Kevin Korchinski, and Nolan Allan expressed what kind of player Connor Bedard is and what he would bring to the Blackhawks if he was drafted.
It's safe to say these guys are quite excited now that Chicago has landed him as the future cornerstone of the franchise. It's going to be a fascinating story to see how general manager Kyle Davidson will construct this new roster, especially with the fact they have nine draft choices in the first three rounds of this year's draft.
The NHL Entry Draft will be held on June 28th and June 29th.
