The Chicago Blackhawks have had a successful run in the 2022 and 2023 drafts, with impressive results from the selected players.

In 2023, the Blackhawks selected Oliver Moore as the 19th overall pick, despite expectations of an earlier selection. Since then, Moore has consistently made impressive showings in international play.

Gavin Hayes, on the other hand, was selected at 66th overall in 2022 and is coming off a remarkable season with 41 goals and 81 points. As a member of the USNTDP Juniors, Oliver Moore scored 8 goals and 17 assists for 25 points in 23 games for a 75-point season.

Both players have been invited to the World Junior Summer Showcase, and they exhibited excellent skills during the event.

They teamed up to provide primary and secondary assists on Paul Fischer's goal in a game against Finland.

Moore passed the puck to Hayes, who then passed it to Fischer for a one-timer at the point, resulting in a stunning goal.
