VIDEO: NHL Prospect Suspended Indefinitely After Attacking a 16 Year Old Fan With His Stick Multiple Times
A crazy video of Nashville Predators prospect Zachary L'Heureux has surfaced this past week, forcing the QJMHL to hand out a suspension.
19-year old Zachary L'Heureux stuck his stick through the glass, where he would then attempt to jab a 16-year old fan "several times" as reported. The QJMHL was aware of the situation, but stated they will not be giving out discipline as there was no video evidence. Until the internet did their thing, and journalist Yanick St.Denis retrieved the video showing the stick attack.
«After receiving new video evidence, the QMJHL Director of Player Safety, Éric Chouinard, has suspended Halifax Mooseheads forward Zachary L'Heureux indefinitely for incidents that occurred after Wednesday's game in Gatineau. The disciplinary committee will review the evidence over the weekend and announce their decision at a later date.»
The decision has been made, and Zachary L'Heureux will be suspended for 10 games for "attempting to jab a 16-year old fan with his stick several times".
QMJHL announced Zachary L'Heureux is suspended 10 games for attempting to jab a 16-year old fan with his stick several times. He is a #Smashville 2021 1st round pick. This is his 9th suspension in 4 seasons.
