Watch Patrick Kane and this Atlantic Division Team closely
During the off-season, Patrick Kane underwent hip resurfacing surgery. In the middle of the season, Kane was expected to decide where to land.
The three-time Stanley Cup champion's return date has been moved up slightly and things are looking up.
Keep an eye on the Sabres and Patrick Kane. I think that would be a fantastic fit, and there's no doubt the Sabres are interested in trying to bring him home.
According to NHL Insider Frank Seravalli the Buffalo Sabres and Patrick Kane are suitors. Due to his birthplace, Buffalo has a big advantage over many other suitors.
A player like Kane could be a great fit for Buffalo since they are on the verge of contending. Despite a 42-33-7 record, the team came up 2 points short of making the playoffs. On a very young team, Kane would be a valuable veteran presence.
When Kane returns, Seravalli predicts he will have many suitors.
It is possible that the Sabres could be the next team to land the superstar since they have $8 million in cap space. In addition to being Kane's boyhood team, it also helps.
