At Temple University a troubling scene occurred, as players ran from shots being fired
There was a scary happening, at a field hockey game in Philadelphia at Temple University.
La Salle's university is playing their games at a different venue this season, Temple University.During the game, between La Salle University and St. Louis University in Philadelphia, as shots were heard in the background.
As the shots were fired in the background, players would rush to safety and fans would be urged to told to get down to protect themselves.

"Players are running off the field right now. There were some loud noises and it looks like players are evacuating the field right now," the announcer could be heard saying.
The New York Post and local police confirmed that shots were fired during the game, but no indication of who the offender was.
No victims were found at the scene either.
"The offender fled the scene prior to police arrival," and "no shooting victims were located. occurringe was secured, no arrest at this time, and no weapon recovered. The investigation is active and ongoing with Central Detectives."
"The shots were fired in the vicinity of an off-campus fast-food restaurant on Broad Street."
Philadelphia police would offer information of where the shooter was located as he was said to have occurred near a Kentucky Fried Chicken parking lot.

The Field Hockey game would be called due to the shooting occuring in the vicinity of the university.
But according to local source The Atlantic 10, there were 192 people in attendance for the game that day.
Neither La Salle or St. Louis University would make a comment on the situation that day.
Fortunately, for the university and players no one was seriously harmed.
