"The Chicago Blackhawks hit the ice for practice on Monday morning after undergoing their weigh ins and medicals on Sunday. With the Blackhawks already down some key players in Jonathan Toews and Kirby Dach, the team got some more tough news on Monday. Veteran defenseman Brent Seabrook was deemed "unfit to participate" in practice. It's tough news for the defenseman who's trying to make an impact after some significant offseason surgeries. Evan Barratt was also deemed unfit to participate and Carl Soderberg is still having some immigration issues so won't be at camp today.
Blackhawks have finally released their camp roster. Brent Seabrook and Evan Barratt are "unfit to participate." Carl Soderberg has immigration issues and will join the team soon. — Ben Pope (@BenPopeCST) January 4, 2021
