BREAKING Hawks Sign Four Players!

"NHL GM's are getting work done these days putting lots of focus into next year while we wait for an answer on this years season. Chicago Blackhawks general manager Stan Bowman got down and dirty on Thursday. Bowman signed four players on Thursday. To start off, he signed forward Matthew Highmore and goalie Kevin Lankinen to contract extensions.Highmore signed a two year deal with an $750k AAV while Lankinen agreed to a two year deal that carries a $800k AAV. Bowman also signed two youngsters to entry level contracts as he signed forward Evan Barratt to a three year entry level contract and forward Andrei Altybarmakyan to a two year entry level contract. Barratt was a Hawks' 3rd round pick in 2017 and has spent the last three seasons in the NCAA playing for Pennsylvania State and registered 12 goals and 22 assists last year. Altybarmakyan was also selected in the 3rd round of the 2017 NHL Draft by the Hawks' and has spent the last three seasons in the KHL most recently playing for Sochi. The 21 year old registered six goals and 11 assists last year in 49 games.
