"The Chicago Blackhawks and general manager Stan Bowman announced a roster move on Tuesday. Bowman has locked up another former NCAA player who couldn't get a deal done with the team that drafted him. The Blackhawks signed forward Cam Morrison to a two year contract after he didn't get a deal done with the Colorado Avalanche. Morrison was the Avs' second round pick back in 2016 and the 6'3 212lb forward registered a total of 94 points in 148 games at Notre Dame which included 43 goals. It's a two year entry level contract for the 21 year old.
