"If the first round series against the Edmonton Oilers didn't already look tough for the Chicago Blackhawks, it just got much tougher. After two defensemen were missing from practice, head coach Jeremy Colliton revealed that they've both been deemed "unfit to play". With Chicago having already possibly lost Corey Crawford for the entire playoffs because of the same label, this just makes it worse. Both Connor Murphy and Olli Maatta are the two players who aren't allowed to hit the ice at the moment. Whether this is from a positive COVID-19 test or some other injury, if both can't play in the playoffs a first round win is starting to look impossible. If the Hawks are without Crawford, Murphy and Maatta along with Andrew Shaw who's already opted out, do they honestly have any chance?
