The Chicago Blackhawks are off to their first five game winless start since 1997 after another loss last night this time to the Vancouver Canucks. With all the offseason changes that general manager Stan Bowman made this offseason, pressure is definitely growing on head coach Jeremy Colliton and the team to get some wins. Colliton was asked after last night's loss why he doesn't seem too upset or emotional about the mounting losses. «I send my message to the team,» he said. «I don't need to video it for you guys (and say), See? I'm doing the thing, guys.' That's fake. It's for the team. And I guess there may be a time (for emotion), depending on what comes up, but to me, everything's got to be with a purpose. … It's not for you, right? It's for the players. We're in it together as a group. My emotion's for them.»He feels the pressure though. «It's always there. You asked the question a couple days ago. There was pressure from the first day I got here. It's up to us and it's up to me to find a new way to give these guys what they need to perform at their highest level. And it's the same job every day.»The Montreal Canadiens are off to a similar start over in the Eastern Conference and earlier this week Canadiens' general manager Marc Bergevin held a press conference to give his team and coaching staff a public vote of confidence. Bowman hasn't made a public appearance since before the season opener in Colorado. Should Colliton see that as being on the hot seat? «Tough for me to speak for him, right? But everyone's frustrated. We want to break through, we think we have a good team. But we've got to get that first one and then it's an opportunity to build. I think we played much better these last two games. We've got to continue to do that, but we've got to take another step, too. Again, just missing that last push with the game on the line.» What do you think of Colliton's comments?
