The Chicago Blackhawks dropped a tough game last night as they lost 3-2 to the Minnesota Wild in overtime. It was a nice opportunity for the Hawks to keep pace in the Wild Card race that they squandered but they at least skated away with a point. After the game, head coach Jeremy Colliton wasn't very impressed by the team's performance. "I think it's been awhile since we played that poorly. First two periods and overtime I didn't think were very good, but credit to them," Colliton said. "They made it hard on us and I thought they had urgency and desperation to their game that we didn't match in the beginning. I thought Crow stood on his head and gave us a chance. "I liked that we didn't quit. I thought we had a push in the third and gave ourselves a chance to have some good things happen. We got some pucks to the net and they found their way in. It's a big point in a game where our performance is far from what we need."Tonight's game is crucial against Boston is crucial and depending on the result, it could give a different feel for the point they earned last night. "It depends how we play (tonight)," Colliton said. "If we're great, then it's a great point, but if we follow it up with another flat performance, then it's just us not playing well in an important time of the year."
