ex Blackhawk finds new home

In October of last year, the Montreal Canadiens acquired Nicolas Beaudin from the Chicago Blackhawks in exchange for Cam Hillis.

Beaudin, a 23-year-old defenseman from Quebec, has only played in 22 NHL games with the

#Blackhawks 2018 1st-round pick (No. 27 overall) Nicolas Beaudin has signed a one-year, two-way contract with the Montreal Canadiens.

Beaudin, 23, didn't play in an NHL game last season but tallied 25 points (2G, 23A) in 39 AHL games for the Laval Rocket.

Blackhawks, where he scored 2 goals, 4 assists, and 2 penalty minutes. He was chosen in the 1st round, 27th overall, in the 2018 draft and has now made Montreal his home.

Beaudin played 29 AHL games with the Laval Rocket, where he scored 2 goals and made 23 assists.

As a result, Kent Hughes rewarded him with a one-year, two-way contract with the team.
