NHL waiver wire heats up as two players have been placed on waivers on Wednesday December 18
After two players were placed on waivers on Tuesday, Dec. 17, four players now land on the wire.
This Friday, December 20, NHL rosters will freeze and no maneuvering moves will be able to be made.
Chris Wagner and Justin Dowling both passed through waivers and cleared today, Elliotte Friedman reports four more now see themselves heading to the American Hockey League (AHL) before Friday's freeze.
Player one placed on the NHL waiver wire
Tye Felhaber, recently suiting up for his NHL debut with the Colorado Avalanche after a long journey in the ECHL, AHL and other minor league system, a late blooming 26-year old soaked in his debut but sadly only lasted one game in the big leagues.
Player two placed on the NHL waiver wire
The Nashville Predators placed 25-year old Marc Del Gaizo, played twenty games with the Preds recording three assists in that time, he proved that he could potentially crack an NHL roster.
Player three placed on the NHL waiver wire
Grant Hutton, the New York Islanders placed the 29-year old on waivers after recording just one goal and three points in 30-NHL games this NHL season.
Player four placed on the NHL waiver wire
Dylan Coghlan, the Winnipeg Jets placed him on waivers and he has 100-games underneath his belt throughout times spent with the Vegas Golden Knights, Carolina Hurricanes and Winnipeg Jets.
