The Chicago Blackhawks are getting ready for another season with Corey Crawford between the pipes. Crawford has dealt with some injury issues over the last couple of seasons so the Blackhawks brought in Robin Lehner to share the workload with him. While appearing in 39 games last year the 34 year old Crawford registered a 2.93 goals against average and .908 save percentage, not exactly mind blowing numbers. Craig Custance of the Athletic spoke to GM's and goalie coaches across the league to rank the NHL's goalies. GM's from across the league didn't hold back regarding Crawford, basically calling him done. «He could self-combust at any time,» said a coach. «They'll both play. We'll see where Lehner's game is at.»«I don't feel comfortable with him,» said a GM. «There's a decline starting.»«He's on the downside of it,» said another executive. One coach didn't see much hope in Lehner either. «Nothing against Robin Lehner but he put up those great numbers because he had Barry Trotz's system,» said a coach. What do you think about these comments?
