"The Chicago Blackhawks and general manager Stan Bowman made a pretty nice investment when they signed Robin Lehner last offseason. Lehner put in some serviceable games during his time in Chicago and Bowman eventually flipped him over to the Vegas Golden Knights. That one year contract Bowman gave out to Lehner turned into a 2nd round pick, goalie Malcolm Subban and defensive prospect Slava Demin. There's questions of course regarding what will happen in between the pipes for the 2020-21 season. Corey Crawford will be UFA while Subban will be RFA.There's chatter that Crawford will likely be willing to sign a short term deal and stay in Chicago to finish out his career. As for the backup goalie position it looks like that's going to Collin Delia. According to one report, the Blackhawks are sold on giving Delia a chance next year while Subban will likely head to free agency after not getting a qualifying offer or they could sign him to play in Rockford. Would you like to see this as the Hawks' 1-2 punch next year?
